Listed above are only the locations which are represented in this collection. The remaining Georgia meteorites, which I do not yet have, are Enigma, Norristown, Lumpkin, Paulding County, Thomson and Twin City.

What may some day be known as the Cartersville meteorite fell in March of 2009, and later that year I confirmed its meteoric origin for Tellus Museum (to which the finder had brought the stone for identification), thoroughly documented the event, and advised that the stone should be immediately classified (and that all impact artifacts be quickly preserved). As of September 2013, to my knowledge, no effort has been made by Tellus Museum (the current owner) to properly classify the stone, although the stone itself and most of the impact artifacts were preserved and are featured in a Tellus Museum exhibit. It won't be included on this list of confirmed Georgia meteorites until the formal classification is completed and has been accepted by the Meteoritical Society, and this footnote has been posted only due to my association with the fall and the subsequent number of inquiries I've received over the years as to the classification status.
